Good intentions

We woke up this morning with the sun shining in our bedroom and into our eyes. Most people have large green shades that they close at night to keep the sun out, but we welcome it even when it arrives early in the morning like today.

After I got up, I opened to door to the terrazza and closed my eyes and faced the sun. It felt good to bathe in the sunlight even just for a brief moment. I felt recharged instantly.

My intentions were good: I was planning on going out to walk around town after lunch, but I had other things I ended up doing, like working and reading.

I hope it will be sunny again tomorrow so I can walk downtown and take in Florence.
